Hello! We are Drew and Christina, we founded, own, and run Praxis Recruitment: a family-owned boutique recruiting agency.
We’ve been helping businesses find and hire awesome employees in Vancouver and around BC for a combined 40+ years. We use the most progressive strategies in Recruitment for our forward-looking clients. We are recognized as experts by our diverse clients and are members of the Chartered Association of Human Resource Professionals.
Praxis operates from a home office nestled between the ocean and the forest in small-town Roberts Creek BC. Both of us have worked big city jobs commuting in suits on the SkyTrain and much prefer the productivity that comes from working at home - productivity for both our family and our clients. Joyfully tied together with three kids, two dogs and one marriage we started Praxis in 2015 with the idea that recruitment can be different.

Drew Stewart
It is very difficult to find someone more at ease with themselves than Drew. Respectful, kind, funny and considerate are all words that come to front of mind when describing Drew’s demeanor. Drew operates his day-to-day life as a disciple of common sense and integrity. He’s an expert at recognizing the natural talents, ambitions, and motivations of potential team members and at spotting gaps and areas for improvement in organizations. With a lengthy background in large, multinational corporations from high-tech software to manufacturing, Drew provides recruitment insight and practical solutions to organizations of all shapes and sizes. He is an active member in the community helping coach youth sports. He enjoys baseball, golf, hockey and is a trivia enthusiast. Looking for a conversation starter? Christina Stewart
Christina is passionate about helping connect awesome employers with awesome employees. There is no better call to make than the one telling a candidate that they got the job and there is nothing better to hear than clients telling her how much they love the candidates! She knows what it takes to build powerful teams and respectful workplaces. Her enthusiasm for Diversity and Inclusion is infused at all levels of the recruitment solutions provided to clients. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and certified by Psychometrics Canada in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator training. Her pursuits include fitness, providing time & energy to community and family, and when all else is complete, curling up with a good book. Want to see her light up?
